So I had to return to Uk for my daughter who has qualified to do a sports degree in Eastbourne . How hard it was back on home soil and knowing how good the traditional food and beer is. It started bad with a kebab on the night , then a English breakfast and a few fine ales. I needed to run , I have the largest run of my life in 10 weeks and can’t get pulled back by this break . I dragged myself out of bed skipped the lovely English breakfast and hit the Eastbourne pier and front , it was cold but surprisingly nice i ran to the South Downs and all the way back along the pier around 10km. Another day of bad food and more drink followed by another run . I was happy to get the runs in it helped me not completely fall of the wagon and now I need to hit overdrive with diet and training to get ready for the bluetrail 66km in June.
